Mr. Bo Xilai Gave Awards to the First Batch of China Time-honored Brand Enterprises

The Ministry of Commerce held the Award Ceremony for China Time-honored Brand in Beijing on Dec. 19, giving awards and certificates to the first batch of 430 enterprises with title of "China Time-honored Brand".

In order to expedite the innovation and development of time-honored brand enterprises, succeed and advocate the excellent culture, develop famous proprietary brands, promote to play well the important role of time-honored brand enterprises in construction of a harmonious society and driving up consumption, the Ministry of Commerce launched and implemented the strategy of Revitalizing Time-Honored Brand.

At the ceremony, Minister of Commerce Bo Xilai gave awards and certificates to the time-honored enterprises. Heads of relative departments of the State Council and local administrative departments of commerce, and representatives from the time-honored enterprises took part in the ceremony, totaling more than 600 people.
